Technical Fellow , Raytheon Australia

Phil is an RTX Technical Fellow and Technical Director with a focus on submarine combat systems (Collins Class, AUKUS Submarines) and maritime uncrewed systems.

He joined Raytheon Australia in 2003 working in numerous chief engineer, chief architect, systems engineering and technology roles including:

· Collins Class Submarine Combat System

o Replacement Combat System

o AN/BYG-1 Combat Control System co-development with US Navy

· Hobart Class DDG Combat System

· Schiebel S-100 Camcopter Maritime Uncrewed Aerial System (MUAS)

His previous roles focused on software and systems engineering including Motorola Australia, BAE Systems Australia (Huon Class Minehunter Combat System), University of Technology - Sydney (UTS-Insearch), Alcatel Australia and Rockwell Ship Systems Australia (Collins Class R1000 Submarine Combat System).

He has a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in electrical engineering from University of Sydney and two project management certificates from George Washington University.
